After a great pilgrimage to Poland last summer as part of preparations for World Youth Day, the Irish Jesuits are organising another Magis (more or greater) event this summer for young adults aged 18-35. Taking place in Ireland from 22 – 29 July, 2017, participants can choose between 2 options: a pilgrimage from Dublin to Glendalough or a faith and ecology experience in Wicklow Town. The group will be joined by other young people from Europe.

On the occasion of the release of the encyclical Laudato si’ at the Colegio Santo Ángel de la Guarda in Gijón, Asturias in Spain, a course on environmental ethics was taught and intended to address crucial questions for understanding the care of the land and sustainability in the region.
MAGIS is a meeting of young people (ages 18-30) from all over the world who are interested in Ignatian spirituality (more). The program offers an opportunity to share a unique experience at three distinct levels: individual growth, relationships with God and others, and intercultural dialogue.
If you want to enjoy the MAGIS experience, be sure to mark the dates of July 15-31, 2016 in your calendar (the MAGIS program ends on July 25, when World Youth Day starts) (more)
The central figure of the program is Jesus Christ. The purpose of the entire event is to help you meet Him, experience His unconditional love and discover His presence in your everyday life.
